Environmental Leadership - Strategic Initiatives - #CEnvOnBoard

The Society for the Environment (SocEnv) is one of the leading internationally respected environmental organisations driving "sustainability through environmental professionalism".  Sustainability saves businesses money - and protects our environment.

Since 2020, we've been working to build linkages with related professional bodies with a view to developing a collaborative roadmap aiming to encourage best environmental practice across ALL organisaions, locally, regionally, nationally and globally. 

The SocEnv is the home for a wide range of environmental professionals qualified at the highest levels, through Royal Charter register the competence and expertise of environmental professionals with three professional registrations:

Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) accreditation which our management working with the Society, through the Environment's "Member Body" which in our sector is the Aboricultural Association.

Whilst the proposal is 'early days' and details to be worked out, interest and support for this initiative has been significant.

The greatest impacts come from top level decision making, so it makes sense to ensure the environment is championed in boardroom decisions.

A draft Vision and Mission is set out above and we expect that we'll be able to progress this further during 2024.
