Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect - 1 post

This is a great opportunity for you to join our team on a flexible basis - part time or full time.

We are looking a creative and flexible individual to lead the expansion of our landscape design service. Within the last 12 months we have undertaken a diverse range of construction projects including patios and water features to high school eco-gardens.

As well as having a keen interest in landscaping and a genuine commitment to producing high quality work, you should possess good people and presentation skills and have experience of forging client working relationships.

Your principal role will be to liaise with clients and to help increase our business by meeting their landscaping needs.

There may also be opportunity for the interested candidate to gain valuable "hands on" experience in other areas of the business from landscape construction and maintenance to arboriculture.

Experience / Skills Required

Essential Requirements

	Experience of working with people, clients and landscape engineers
	Proven communication and presentation skills
	Site survey and quantification and budget costing
	Design and draughtsmanship skills to produce concept sketches to 3-D illustrations
	Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
	Proven practical knowledge and ability in landcape construction
	Extensive knowledge of plants, materials and structures
	Knowledge of related legislation including CDM Requirements
	Completion of a minimum of NVQ II in Horticulture or equivalent

Desirable Skills

	Experience of exhibiting at flower shows or in competitions
	Membership of trade organisation such as the LI or RHS
	Proficient in the use other software packages such as Sketchup, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop
	Negotiation and sales/presentation skills

Remuneration

Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
